Yalta is the main resort of the southern coast of Crimea, a key tourist center of the republic and a cultural pearl of the region recognized by many travelers. The city is located 90 kilometers from Simferopol airport, at the intersection of the main Crimean highways, forming the center of the Big Yalta district, which includes neighboring Alupka, Gurzuf, Massandra, Gaspra and several dozen other coastal villages.
