Yugra Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery Center is the largest cardiology healthcare facility in the area. It is one of the best clinics in the Ural Federal Okrug and Russia providing healthcare to patients with cardiovascular diseases.
The Public Healthcare Facility Areal Clinical Diagnostic Center was founded in 1995. The Department of Cardiac Surgery was established at the Center in 1997, and the first open-heart surgery in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Yugra was performed here in September 1998. Over the past 25 years, the healthcare facility has become the cutting-edge Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery Center, which provides all kinds of specialized medical care, including high-tech medical care, to patients with cardiovascular diseases.
Within the framework of the National Healthcare Project and the Regional Project on Cardiovascular Diseases Prevention and Control Yugra Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery Center serves as the organizational and methodological headquarters. The Center coordinates the fulfillment of the projects activities with a target to reduce mortality rates due to cardiovascular diseases and prolong life expectancy in Yugra’s population.
Technical equipment of the Center (more than 2,000 units of modern medical equipment) enables provision of all the required medical examinations, surgeries and other procedures to patients with cardiovascular diseases 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
About 6,500 patients get inpatient treatment in the Center every year, more than 4,000 surgeries on the heart and great vessels are performed, and more than 1,200,000 consulting and diagnostic services are provided here annually. Yugra Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery Center staff includes more than 1,100 employees. 14 members of our team have MD-PhD. 3 of our medical specialists are chief external experts of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Yugra Healthcare Department. The Department of Cardiology of Surgut State University Medical Institute operates in partnership with Yugra Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery Center, so the staff members of the healthcare facility have the opportunity to improve their knowledge interacting with the leading Russian and foreign clinics.
