Sanatorium Laba

Sanatorium Laba is located in Labinsk in Krasnodar region and it covers an area of 37 hectares, is located in the foothills of the Caucasian ridge, has its own sources of thermal mineral water.

The sanatorium is open all year round, the outdoor pools can be used even in winter, they always have warm water.

The work uses both traditional balneo-mud therapy and modern techniques and devices (for example, pulse-hemoindication – the latest development of the Moscow Medical Technical Institute).

There is a water park on the basis of the sanatorium.

Sanatorium "Laba" - the pearl of the Krasnodar Territory! The most beautiful place in the foothill zone of the Caucasus Mountains. The territory is buried in greenery, and thermal mineral springs warm the soul and body.

In 1959, near the town of Labinsk, geological exploration work was carried out in search of oil. While drilling a well, a hot water geyser hit instead of oil.

Local residents, showing curiosity, went to see the "natural fountain" and soon began to receive mud-balneotherapy by the savages all year round! The water gently warmed and cured sore joints, everyone noticed the effect of the treatment and the rumor about "Living Water" spread quickly and far. Hot springs became known throughout the Krasnodar Territory.

Scientists became interested in the source: the Sochi Institute of Physiotherapy and Balneology made a complete chemical analysis, it turned out to be a high-thermal (106 ° C at the outlet) chloride-sodium iodine-bromine ortho-boric siliceous natural thermal mineral water of high mineralization. A typical representative of the waters of this composition is considered the water of the "Three Lilies" spring in the resort of Wiesbaden in Germany, on the territory of the former Federal Republic of Germany.

In 1971, on the basis of a thermal spring, the Laba sanatorium was opened, in honor of the majestic mountain river Laba, flowing in the city. The sanatorium specialized in mud-balneotherapy, had a small but promising set of procedures, people from all over the country learned about the sanatorium and fell in love with its unique water. Over time, more in-depth studies and testing of balneological properties were carried out, the range of directions for using water expanded. The sanatorium itself grew.

Today the health resort "Laba" is one of the best health resorts in the Southern Federal District, which is based on hot springs in the Krasnodar Territory. In 2014, the sanatorium was awarded the gold medal "The best healthcare institution in the Russian Federation", laureate and prize-winner of numerous competitions, participant in tourism exhibitions, has 4 buildings, with a total capacity of up to 430 people at a time. Treatment programs in 12 areas have been developed and are effectively applied; both traditional balneo-mud therapy and modern techniques and devices are used in the work. On the basis of the sanatorium, there are: a water park, a bath complex, there is its own diagnostic center with advanced equipment, and the park zone of the sanatorium will not leave anyone indifferent!
