Svyatoslav Fyodorov Eye Microsurgery Federal State Medical Institution in Moscow was opened in 1986 for the development and implementation of effective methods of diagnosis and treatment of ophthalmic diseases.
At present, Svyatoslav Fyodorov Eye Microsurgery Federal State Institution in Moscow is a world-famous and largest ophthalmological complex in Russia, which has 11 branches throughout the country, and provides specialized high-tech assistance to adults and children.
The Moscow Fedorov Center has several departments: scientific and organizational departments, scientific and clinical departments (vitreoretinal surgery, laser surgery, glaucoma surgery, ophthalmic oncology, reconstructive plastic surgery, radiology, transplant surgery, therapeutic surgery, intraocular correction, lens surgery, microsurgery and functional eye rehabilitation in children), medical departments (polyclinic, consultative and diagnostic center, department of clinical and functional diagnostics, department of contact vision correction).
