The state healthcare institution "City Clinical Hospital of Emergency Medical Care No. 25" is the largest multidisciplinary hospital of emergency medical care in the city of Volgograd and the Volgograd region.
The structure of the medical organization includes 19 medical departments with round-the-clock stay of patients, as well as 3 day care units (gastroenterology, gynecology, rheumatology) with a capacity of 40 beds, 16 diagnostic and paraclinical departments. During the year, more than 42 thousand citizens receive medical care at the institution, of which 27 thousand are in hospital, and more than 8 thousand surgical operations are performed.
Regional specialized medical centers and departments are deployed and functioning on the basis of the institution:
regional vascular center for the care of patients with acute coronary syndrome with 144 beds (three cardiology departments) with intensive care unit (ORiIT No. 2, or cardiac intensive care unit with 18 beds)
regional vascular center for the care of patients with acute cerebral circulatory disorders with 72 beds (two neurological departments) with intensive care unit and intensive care for 18 beds (ORiIT No. 4);
regional burn center with 40 beds (including 10 beds for children);
regional rheumatology center: rheumatology department with 60 beds, day hospital (5 beds) and an office for providing assistance with the use of genetically engineered medicines;
regional coloproctology department with 60 beds;
Level 1 trauma center (assistance to victims of an accident with a combined injury).
